Story
Next month I will be swimming a mile in the Serpentine for Treckstock, a charity that supports young adults with cancer. As some of you may know, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer during my first year of uni and am still fighting the disease today, so Trekstock has a very personal importance to me. Having cancer at 23 can be pretty isolating but getting to know people my own age having experienced similar things has been an invaluable part of my recovery, and should be something every young person has access to. And with your generous donations, hopefully Trekstock will be able to support even more of us. Go and read about all the cool stuff they do for us and other ways you can get involved: http://www.trekstock.com/
I’ll be fighting the swans in the swampy Serpentine of the 24th of September - not that far away - so I better get training. I couldn’t even make it up the stairs without feeling faint a few months ago so I’m hoping I am a bit fitter now... Any donations, big or small, to such an important charity would be really appreciated. Thankyouuuuuu
