Thank you for taking the time to visit my Psalmathon JustGiving page.

A group of friends, accomplished and talented singers, are donating their time and talent to spend at least 16 hours singing through the 150 Psalms of David . We will start at 7am on the morning of Saturday 26th July and continue until we get the the end ! Psalm singing is an ancient and difficult skill and the event will provided both singers and those who come to support us the opportunity to experience traditional Cathedral standard singing.

The longevity of the sing, however,  is going to be a HUGE challenge and we need people to come and support us on the day and/or donate to our efforts. We would be SO GRATEFUL if you could help us reach and exceed our target.

“Croydon Minster is a beautiful and historic building in the centre of Croydon Old Town. In addition to providing a place of worship and spiritual calm, the staff reach out to the local community through providing a food bank, shelter for the homeless, counseling for those affected by drugs and alcohol, education and activities for young people, meeting opportunities for the elderly and study opportunities ranging from philosophy to dance. In order to do this, we have to keep our building open and maintained. This costs thousands of pounds  a year and this works makes an immeasurable difference to the lives of the people it serves. 

The Minster needs help and we ask you to become involved, either by making a donation, or supporting the diverse range of activities and events coming up in the next few months.”
