Story
This year marks 10 years since Milo Gray tragically passed away from a brain haemorrhage, aged only 6 years old. Milo was a family friend, and so a few years back, my parents ran the London Marathon in his honour. This year I have decided to do the same.On the 24th April 2016 I (along with 36,000 other people) will be taking to the streets of London to run those famous 26.2 miles. I will be doing this to raise money for Young Epilepsy, one of the three charities that Team Milo has decided to support this year. This charity works exclusively with young sufferers of epilepsy, and strives to support their potential and improve their quality of life.
I will be organising a number of events in the run up to this, so please look out for these. I'll also post an occasional update on training to let you know how I am doing.
For now, if you have anything to spare, please donate. Every penny will push me closer to that finish line, and will raise money for a truly fantastic cause, in honour of a truly fantastic little boy.
Thank you,
Rach xxx
