This Ramadan, Discover Islam Luton aims to share our blessings with the Luton community through the following campaigns:

1. Feed the Needy

As Luton is officially the poorest area in the East of England, we aim to feed the needy through a food drive, providing non-perishable food items, and a weekly soup kitchen, providing warm, cooked food. £150 can feed 100 people.

2. Ethical trade

Support small-scale farmers around the world and purchase an ideal gift! Our Fairtrade hampers not only contain delicious fairtrade products, such as dates from palestine, tea from Malawi and chocolate from Sri Lanka, but all proceeds from sales will be used to plant olive trees in Palestine. Purchase today from £15-£30.

3. Gifts for local children in care

n partnership with Luton Borough Council, give gifts to local children in care so they too can enjoy Eid and know that they are not alone or forgotten. Provide 5 gifts for £50.

Help others Discover Islam

The public information centre is visited by over 200 people a month and multiple outreach activities conducted regularly. Help this essential community service by supporting an outreach activity for £100.
