This year, I am running the London Marathon in aid of 'Swings and Smiles', a fantastic organisation devoted to supporting the families of children with special needs. 

Based at The Phoenix Centre in Newbury, they provide more than 230 families across Berkshire and Hampshire with an environment where the whole family are able to play together safely and securely without the pressures often experienced in a wider community setting. Everyone at Swings & Smiles understands just how different life is when you are living in a family where a brother or sister has a disability or special need so they provide a supportive setting so that those that struggle with this are able to have a safe place to spend time together. 

The London Marathon is something that I have wanted to tick off my bucket list for many years and I am delighted to finally have the opportunity to do so for a charity that I really, truly believe makes a lasting difference. So, please help me raise as much as I can so that they can continue to provide life-changing support.
