I am shaving my head for the Farm Animal Sanctuary because every year billions of animals are shaved for cruel animal testing and vivisection, the angora/wool trade, and after slaughter for leather production.  

The farm animal sanctuary take care of discarded pet pigs, through to neglected lambs, feral cats, and ponies.
