Story

Its 3.5 years since I last took on a challenge for a Charity, which some of you will recall was 100km in the Sahara for Peter McVerry. ( see this video for more http://www.youtu.be/qgJs4OowOTY )

This time my friend John Kelly who has fundraised for the Dublin Simon Community for many years, asked me to take a weeks leave from work and join him on a 116km walk along the Camino de Santiago.  Sadly he can't join me and the official Dublin Simon Walk is cancelled for this year. But thanks to www.hilltoptreks.ie, I have paid to join them on their St. Jean De Port to Estella walk, which is Part 1 of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, known as The Way of St.James.

Donate whatever you want, every € will count and thank you ! Thanks to those of you who supported my application for funding ( https://youtu.be/Hh3a1c2B470 ) from Version 1 here : http://woobox.com/iu793c/vote/for/14022154  and I have since secured a €1,000 Community Trust Grant from Version 1 for Dublin Simon!
