 I am Renu Tank and this project is a chance for me to show all of you first hand how these funds will shape and enhance the future for Fijians by providing the chance for them to learn academic skills, as they already excel in labour intensive jobs. 

Many of you have ask why I chose this project, so here it is. 

Yes I am going to the rural heart of Fiji, Wainimakutu with a team to introduce professional traits such as public speaking, debating... alongside providing academic tutoring to over 1000 children and youths. Our aim is to also help the older generations  whom do not speak English but Fijian, Hindi or Fijian Hindi to understand why we are teaching the subjects we are and how it will benefit their children. Growing up and witnessing my grandparents integrate into westernized culture from India and still keeping their culture and community in tacked as well as adapting the norms of the UK, presented itself as  a life changing and challenging experience. So I would like be and provide that helping hand that my grandparents did not receive to ensure that Fijians can superimpose western and Fijian culture to give their children the life they never had the opportunity to experience .
