Story
On 31 July 2016 I will be cycling Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 to raise money for Kingston Samaritans. The last time I did a 100 mile cycle challenge it was over several days, my Dad carried all my stuff and I walked my bike up most of the hills. This time I have to do it in under 8.5 hours and I get the sense walking will be frowned upon so it's definitely going to be a challenge! But I'm determined to do it and would love your support to help me make it count.
I am raising money for Kingston Samaritans because you never know when you or someone you care about will need someone to be there to listen. 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, Samaritans are there to listen when people are feeling distressed, despairing and sometimes questioning whether life is worth living. Kingston Samaritans are in the process of moving to a new building in central Kingston and need vital funds to make their new premises fit for volunteers and for people who want to visit to talk face to face with a Samaritan. I'm hoping to raise £750 to support this work and any donation you can offer will be hugely appreciated by Kingston Samaritans and will help to keep me pedalling on 31 July.
Thank you for your kind support.
