Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In November 2015 I decided I wanted to raise some much needed pennies for The Edward Foundation to say Thankyou for the amazing work that they do and to let them know how grateful I am that they rescued and then allowed me to adopt my Furbabes, Lola & Betsy. (RIP Betsy 19/07/16)
I decided if I was going to ask people for sponsors I needed to do something that everyone could see how much effort I've put in and how much out of my comfort zone I am going. So I picked a 5k mudrun.
Since November I've been in 'training' I've gone from doing nothing activity wise, to weekly, PT sessions, boxing sessions, boot camps, swimming and I'm currently teaching myself how to jog, going for walk/jogs at 5am 4 mornings a week. I now do on average 10 hours a week exercise.
I've lost just over 4 and half stone, I can now do squat jumps, kettlebell swings, sit up and press up, wall squats, crunches, jumping jacks and lots more! Learning how to jog has been my biggest mission, it's a lot harder that it looks!! I'm still trying to figure this out!!
I've had tears along the way but I've mostly had a huge smile on my face and I've loved every second.
