Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year we (Roger, David, Andy, Ian and Richard) with the support of Tony Abbott and Fred Stanley, are preparing to ride from Malaga in Spain to Vilamoura in Portugal ending up just in time to attend the AVS conference.

The ride is a grueling 300 miles in three days and we climb over 17000 feet! This is a challenge for only the most seasoned road cyclists. It ain't going to be easy.

More importantly we’re planning to raise funds for the Diamond Blackfan Anaemia charityDBA is a rare bone marrow failure disorder, usually diagnosed before 12 months of age; sufferers can often require a lifetime of treatment and, in some cases, a bone marrow transplant. We are hoping to raise awareness, as well as some much-needed funds, by undertaking the ride in the charity’s name.

We're looking for generous sponsors to help us hit our target. Any amount will be grateful received no matter how small. It's all very much appreciated.

Thank you for your generosity
