Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part again in the Norfolk Churches Trust Annual Cycle Ride, mainly on Saturday, 17 September 2016 (a week later than the official day, with the Trust’s agreement, my already being occupied on Saturday, 10 September) and should be grateful for your financial and other support. I may do a short local ride on the official day (10 September), if time allows, but the main effort will be the week later.
The funds I raise will be shared equally between the Trust (http://www.norfolkchurchestrust.org.uk/) and my own church (All Saints' Church, Chedgrave - http://www.chetvalleychurches.org/) to support their work.
Maintaining church buildings is important for many reasons, not least because the churches are active in their local communities. Local support and witness remain important parts of church life, and the Church in Chedgrave is active in many ways, with benefit to many individuals and families.
I always enjoy the exercise provided by this event and the opportunity of visiting some lovely buildings and meeting a lot of people. This year I hope that Nicholas, my middle son, might join me, as he did last year.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
