The difference an educated child can make to his or her community by breaking the cycle of poverty is immense.   Imagine the difference we can make, every US$250 raised pays for one child's education for one year. Just US$20 takes a child off the streets and into school for a month.

I'll be riding from Hue to Hoi An, over the Hai Van pass this November. I will traverse vast stretches of rice paddies in weather that alternates between sweet monsoon rain and an exhausting dry 38 degrees.  Whilst I do this, I want you to be comfortable in the knowledge that you need not. For you will have very kindly sponsored a very daft and tired Richard.

All the money raised goes to the Saigon Children's Charity and is used to fund a vocational school for very under privileged children. It is a school I have visited and reputable charity which I have known since 1997.
