Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and I hope you'll agree that the challenge is worthy of the cause...!!

This ride is the brainchild of Gareth Gummer, a friend I've played a lot of rugby with. We cycle because we can't do much else anymore, but this ride means a lot to both of us given the charities we're raising money for.

Those of you that know me already will know I like a bike ride, and 150 odd miles from Enfield to Folkestone and then along the French coast into Normandy should do me fine. You'll also know I'm not built for hills, so close to 9,000 feet of climbing will add to the mix and make this a challenge which I hope you'll think worth supporting.

Nathan has picked this charity and will be supporting them over the coming years as part of his 'be a good person and support those less fortunate than ourselves' personal objective. I'm proud of the person he has become so I'm riding to support him too.....
