We will be running the Keswick Mountain Festival Ultramarathon. This is a race through the Lake District covering 50km and about 2000m of ascent.
The Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association are the umbrella organisation for all of the Mountain Rescue teams in the Lake District. Mountain Rescue are comprised entirely of volunteers and available at all times of the day and night, 365 days per year, to assist those in distress and lost on the mountains of the Lake District. They also assisted with search and rescue throughout the north of England during the recent floods despite suffering their own losses to the deluge.
Mountain Rescue relies entirely on donations so please, please donate to this worthy and selfless cause.
