As part of the Cartridge World Community Pledge, we've chosen RSPCA Hull and East Riding as our charity of the year and we're trying to raise £3000 for them.  They are an independent charity which raises money through donations and local events.

As well as Cartridge World Hull events such as a monthly in-store prize draw, our members of staff are doing thier own fundraising on the side.  

For my part, I'm going to be trying to raise £500 by giving up alcohol for a month.  Yes that's right!  A whole month!  No firewater, mothers ruin, hooch, moonshine or brewski's for the whole of March!

Okay, so it may not sound amazing, but as some of my closer friends will know I'm rarely to be found without a beer in my hand or a bottle of wine on the go.... I'm actually kind of curious to see how difficult this is :)

Anyway, there's the deal.  I stop drinking, you start giving.  Any amount welcome.
