My Father had a 3 year battle with this awful disease which ended in October 2015. I watched him go from the big healthy braun guy to a frail man in no time at all.  It was heartbreaking.

He loved a curry and a pint with his mates, watching the football with me, he was up at 6am every morning to go and open his Motorbike shop that I worked at with my Brother, Adam, for 8 years. He built that shop from  scratch in the 70's!

He was my hero, and over time i saw him deteriorate and get engulfed by this terrible cancer.

It affected everyone around us. This was the first time anyone in my family or even friends had been taken down by cancer, it was all very new to us but it made us super close and a very tight family towards the end. 

I shall  be shaving my infamous beard off on 23rd July 2016 at The Bike Shed In Shoreditch by Frank Glorified, Thy Barber
