Story
Last year employees and friends of RoSPA took part in the Wolf Run, a 10K wild run through water, fields and woods. This year they’re stepping up the game by taking part in the Major Series, a 10K military obstacle course! Here’s why...
Claiming 14,000 lives each year, accidents are the single biggest risk to those we love. But together we can save lives and help those who need us most!
Most accidents are preventable. By giving people the skills and knowledge to make informed choices, the risk of an accident can be greatly reduced - which is where RoSPA LifeForce comes in.
LifeForce is a team of qualified volunteers working with local communities to reduce accidents. With residents' permission, volunteers visit homes to identify potential risks and advise people how best to deal with them.
But it doesn't stop there, LifeForce volunteers look beyond accident prevention at other things that can pose a risk to someone's welfare, such as isolation or home repair needs. These can then be passed on to suitable support groups in the area.
We know that effective prevention saves lives, we see it every day in the workplace. With your help, we can bring safety home.
