Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the Brighton Marathon this year to raise money for the Friends of Woodlands Meed, which is a small charity raising funds to support children and young people with learning, social, physical and communication disabilities within school. My son, Jack, goes to Woodlands Meed School and this is my chance to give something back to the school, and the staff who provide Jack with such a supportive environment. Jack is profoundly autistic, non-verbal, and has difficulties with sensory processing, sometimes making his world a confusing and challenging place.
By donating to the Friends of Woodlands Meed you are helping raise money to fund trips, outings, education and specialist equipment, all of which are essential parts of Jack's school life. Jack and everyone at the school will be hugely appreciative of every penny raised.
This will be my fourth marathon, and if the first three are anything to go by, it will be another tough and gruelling experience!
