Story

Rob Long moved to Liverpool 3 years ago from London. He fell in love with the city and its people, and is a supporter of Tom Harrison House.

He's recently begun a massive undertaking – he’s hiking the entire length of the UK, starting from John O’Groats in the far north of Scotland and ending at Land’s End in Cornwall, a journey of about 874 miles!

Rob says, “I am taking a break from work as a scientist to have time for activities that I love, one of which is hiking.  This will be a march of 25 miles a day on average, for about 50 days, and will hopefully increase awareness and raise money for the work of Tom Harrison House.”

Rob has set up a Facebook page (which you can view here), and will be posting updates and photographs along the way.

We’ll also be posting more updates in the near future, on our events page at http://tomharrisonhouse.org.uk/events/.

Good luck Rob, and sincere thanks from all at THH!
