Story
A team of friends, Daily Record & Sunday Mail colleagues and media pals are running the Great Scottish 10k run on Sunday 4th October. It will be a year on the 14th October since their dear friend, colleague (and partner to Fee) Chris Roberts died from a brain tumour.
Chris loved running. He was a marathon, half-marathon, 10k, 5k runner and loved to keep fit. It's about time the sport's desk at the Daily Record & Sunday Mail got fit so Chris' partner Fee challenged them to run the 10k in Chris' memory. Lots of colleagues and friends are joining in the fun, and helping to raise money for the Beatson Cancer Charity. The Beatson was a great support to Chris and a charity very close to a lot of people's hearts in Scotland.
Robbo's team will hopefully fly through the finish line with a smile and not too many aches, pains and blisters. Go team Robbo!
