Story
My wife and I lost our little baby boy at 31 weeks pregnant in July 2014. In memory of our second son Gabriel, this will be the third year that I take part in the 10k run to raise money for the Lily Mae Foundation. The charity helps people who have suffered stillbirths and also raises awareness and carries out research into why stillbirths happen.
One of the things that The Lily Mae Foundation did to help us through such a hard time was so simple yet beautiful, which was to provide Warwick Hospital with memory boxes to hold the few precious items we had of our little baby boy. Because of this, we now have (amongst other things) little hand and footprints of Gabriel and matching teddies - one for us and one for Gabriel, our little angel.
They have continued to offer support to us for the past two years and we would be very grateful for any support in raising money for this very worthwhile and caring charity.
