Age UK is the country's largst charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of their later life and I am proud to be running in the 2016 London Marathon to raise funds to help them continue the excellent and important work they do.  This will be my first marathon which will make it a squeaky bum occasion. My mum died last year and would have benefited from an organisation like Age UK but did not understand what they could have offered her which was such a waste.

Ageing is not an illness, but it can be challenging for some. Age UK provide services and support at a national and local level to inspire, enable and support older people. 

They do a fantastic job to improve peoples quality of lives through giving finanacial, health and wellbeing and housing advice and support. 

It is a fantastic charity and one which we may all need to rely on in later years so consider your donation an investment.
