This is my first half marathon and I wanted to go to my home city and do skmethkng there 20 years after leaving.  As I am running a hull based race I wanted to choose a local charity. I was made aware of Hull Animal Welfare Trust a few years ago and a dear friend supported it. I wanted to follow their lead (as always) to give me another reason to run and complete it.  I adore the Humber bridge. It is majestic and it signifies returning home.
