Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is my first half marathon and I wanted to go to my home city and do skmethkng there 20 years after leaving.  As I am running a hull based race I wanted to choose a local charity. I was made aware of Hull Animal Welfare Trust a few years ago and a dear friend supported it. I wanted to follow their lead (as always) to give me another reason to run and complete it.  I adore the Humber bridge. It is majestic and it signifies returning home. So please support me in my personal challenge and donate to a worthy local  cause. Donating  through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Hull Animal Welfare Trust was established in 1982. In those 30 years, the Trust has taken in, cared for and re-homed thousands of animals; mainly dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The Trust is based at South Cave and has minimal paid staff, fully supported by a band of dedicated volunteers.
