Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've been a supporter of Embrace the Middle East for many years, as well as a keen cyclist, so when I learnt that the charity was looking for riders to represent them in the London 100 Ride this year, it seemed a perfect opportunity.
Embrace the Middle East may not be a well-known charity, but it's been going for over 160 years. It used to be known as the Bible Lands Society, and if you've ever been to a church service at Christmas you've most likely sung from one of their carol sheets.
Embrace works with local Christian churches in some of the countries of the Middle East - Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt - to bring help in education, healthcare and social support to vulnerable and disadvantaged people, many of them refugees.
I'm trying to raise £500 for Embrace, so please consider making a donation to help me achieve my goal, to bring help to people who need it.
