My dad, Peter Robinson has been staying in the Philippines. he has suffered a brain stem stroke and is in hospital paralysed. We are his children and we were not aware that he was not insured. Nearly six weeks ago we got a call to say that that was in intensive care in an induced coma. His medical costs are now reaching £10,000 and each day it is costing over £200 for his medicines alone without doctors charges for treatment. If the bill is not paid, dad will not be released, but kept in a side room without care.

We are desperately trying to raise funds for his medical costs and to get him home on the advice of a stroke consultant here in the UK. It will cost us £19,000 to fly him back with medical support. We want to see our dad get the help he needs
