Story
On 27th August 2016, Jess and I will be undertaking an epic walk (100km) for Helping Rhinos, as we participate in the South Coast Challenge.
The race will begin in Eastbourne. The route takes us up the infamous Beachy Head, 162m above sea level, over chalk cliffs through the Seven Sisters Country Park and along the South Downs Way. We have an overnight stay at Brighton with an early start on 28th when we head up to Devils Dyke, for the amazing views. We will then try to get to the Cathedral spire of historic Arundel before sunset, a welcome finish line after an incredible two days spent on the South Coast.
We are raising funds for Helping Rhinos who are a UK based charity whose vision is to lead conservation and education initiatives that ensure the long term survival of rhinos and other endangered wildlife in their habitat. The number of rhinos killed by poachers in South Africa alone increased from 13 in 2007 to 1,215 in 2014. In just seven years that is a 9,346% increase (https://www.helpingrhinos.org)
So right now you can to help Jess and I raise as much as possible for this great cause. Please dig deep and give what you can as we take on what will most definitely be an exhausting 100 km challenge
