Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You may or may not know, but in January 2015 my GP asked 'if I'd ever had my prostate examined'; I replied in the negative, and 5 minutes later he told me 'it didn't feel 100% right', so an appointment was made at Sunderland Royal Hospital.

9 months and several scans later, I was finally diagnosed with Prostate Cancer one sunny Friday morning in August at 9.30 am

The following Monday afternoon at 5.30 pm I was on my way out of an operating theatre minus  my prostate; cured of this horrible cancer.

Everyone at Sunderland Royal; from Mr Green the consultant, the nurses, the orderlies and the cleaners on my ward were all fabulous and incredibly sympathetic; so after raising over £500 for Prostate Cancer UK, with with the help of my sons and now YOU, I can now give something back, to help support the Urology Ward at Sunderland Royal Hospital and the work that goes on there .

Every little helps, be it £5 $5 or €5 or as much as you can spare.

Thank you again.
