We offer support & fund medical research to find a cure for brain cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting Rod's Running for Astro. After completing  the City of Norwich Half Marathon on 22 November 2015, I ran the Reading Half Marathon on 3 April 2016, quite slowly but finishing, not last!

Astro Brain Tumour Fund is a charity which combats a type of brain tumours known as Low Grade Gliomas. All donations, large or small, will be very welcome, helping to provide support and brain tumour research. As ever, my fund-raising is inspired by my niece Gemma who fought her tumour so bravely until she died at only 29 years of age in November 2010. She was truly remarkable and remains a great inspiration.

Gemma's example has helped me cover over 1,200 miles in training and races in recent years including the London Marathon 2011 and now 17 Half Marathons.
