Story

Please help Green Chameleon reach the target of £5000 . A simple 1 Pence a Kilometer would be a wonderful donation as Haller's grassroute appproach will mean your donation goes directly to the families in Kenya. Helping them and their community to develop in a more sustaiable way.

Haller's goal is to provide and promote a model for economic development that is sustainable and environmentally sound. Haller address communities' basic needs through an integrated set of programmes in water, farming, education, health, alternative energies and nano-enterprise.  To date, they have improved the lives of over 23,000 families in Kenya.

Green Chameleon wish to raise £5000 so we can help Haller spread its message and help developing communities to implement sustainable tecniques from the start. We have developed a website to explain the story so please follow RollosRide to see what the campaign is all about. Or read the story below.

So 23 year old Rollo Lewis, Business Director at Green Chameleon, Bristol’s newest green design agency will be cycling from Bristol to Vitoria Gasteiz, Northern Spain, distance of 1182Km. The objective is to support Bristol in its bid for the Green Capital of Europe 2014, as well as raise funds for the sustainable charities that Green Chameleon supports. These are Haller and Raw Foundation

Rollo’s journey will start in Bristol on the 14 of June, pass through Nantes (2013 Green Capital) and finish in Vitoria Gasteiz the current 2012 Green Capital.

Green Chameleon is a small Creative Solutions Agency based in Bristol who implement sustainable techniques into their design and marketing services. The Green Chameleon team is designing and leading the Campaign supporting their employee from their office at Windsor House in Bristol. They will be tracking Rollo as he takes on this challenge, updating his blog and spreading the message.

Haller works with nature to regenerate ecosystems and build thriving communities. In Kenya we equip subsistence farmers living on dry, eroded land with the knowledge to harvest water, rehabilitate the soil and farm sustainably so they can become self-sufficient and generate a livelihood.
