Tom G, Hugh, Alex, Tom H, Nick, Jamie and Pete's Brothers Tim and simon decided to get together and raise as much money as possible for SSAFA because they helped bring home a true hero and good mate Peter 'Ronnie' O'sullivan after he tragically took his own life in Vietnam earlier this year. 

SSAFA not only raised the funds to get Pete repatriated, but have provided support to his family over the last few months. They have continued to offer help and guidance. Without this the family wouldn't have understood Petes troubles.

We believe Pete was struggling with PTSD, and would really like to raise funds to increase awareness of the disorder and help others in similar situations. SSAFA do such an excellent job and with the majority All their staff out on the ground - being Volunteers - the funds go straight to the people who need their support.
I can't stress enough how the family have needed SSAFA's support since Petes tragic death.

We hope that all HM Service Veterans and their Families will learn how to recognise PTSD and immediately seek the necessary treatment - before it gets out of control.
