We encourage a brighter future for children to give them the education they deserve

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sarah , George ,Darcy and myself were lucky enough to spend 5 weeks in South Africa . One of the reasons for going was that we met Dave and Kathleen Riordan in 2008 , who had previously lived in Franschhoek . During their time in South Africa they set up the Kusasa Project to help the children from the local Township. Many of the children being neglected by their poverty stricken parents whose lives had been overtaken by reliance on drugs and alcohol.

The Kusasa Project set about giving these children a start in life with education, and food in their stomachs.Without the asistance of Kusasa there would be no way out of the downward spiral for these children . Having seen the poverty first hand and also the great work that Kusasa is achieving we are keen to support this incredibly worthwhile charity.
