Story
Animal Rescue & Care (ARC) are a small and dedicated charity doing great things for animals in need in the Surrey / South London area. Sadly, they were the unfortunate victims of a recent break-in, where £150 worth of equipment was stolen... a huge loss for a small charity that does not 'chug' on the streets or receive government funding. ARC took on two of our baby boy rabbits late last year (and were very nice about it - this is where my involvement with them began); one of the boys subsequently died and the other (Louie) almost died too but for their dedication in nursing him back to health. Once well again and at our request, ARC helped us in re-bonding him with his mother (our rescue bun Missy - who has her own story to tell as well, she was rescued all the way from Ireland!) and he was returned to us in March 2012 to live alongside her and two sisters. Little Louie is doing fantastically and is one of many many ARC success stories, I would just like to raise a little money for them to help them carry on (despite this set back) as they helped him :-)
