I am doing a sponsored Fire Walk to raise funds for Home-Start Crawley,
Horsham and Mid-Sussex (CHAMS) offers much needed help to families with young children when times are tough. Volunteers visit the families in their own homes and offer a listening ear, friendship and practical help.
Working together with the parents and the scheme staff  a real
difference is made for that family. It may be the sourcing and provision of equipment, furniture, clothes or food; or it may be support to attend hospital appointments, meet with Social Services or help with form filling. 

Home-Start is very flexible and can adapt support to meet the needs of individual families.  In fact, the service is so successful that there are always families waiting for support.
