My name is Rosie, I was recently diagnosed with a slow growing brain tumour. This tumour is in my primary motor cortex. If left untreated this tumour would grow resulting in me suffering from seizures, paralysation and eventually death.

However it has been caught early! I am due to go in for brain surgery fairly soon. The doctors have said patches of hair will be shaved off for "easy access". I don't want to look mental with a patchy head, so I have opted for the full Uncle Fester.

Brain Tumour Support is a charity that helps people and their families though the good times and dark times during treatment and after care. They offer various avenues of support such as group sessions, house visits and even 24 hour hotlines. They are partnered with MacMillan.

I will no doubt be using various facilities of theirs in the months to come. I feel I need to put back what I intend to take out. To that end I am raising money to support this charity. Please help me reach my target.
