Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 23rd 2011 aged just 18 Emma died when a tree fell on her car. All of her family and friends felt the need to do something positive so decided to create a permanent grant-making fund to help remember Emma. The aim of the fund is to support young people in the Performing Arts, Emma was such a fantastic and passionate dancer herself.

5 years on it is still hard to believe and Emma is missed by every one of us every single day. Emma was so beautiful inside and out, with the most infectious smile that still brightens up any day. As one of Emma's good friends I have decided to run the Great North 5k to raise as much money as possible to keep her memory alive.

Please find the time to visit Emma’s page, http://www.emmanewtonfund.com/ read a little more about the fund and spare what you can in memory of an amazing girl.
