Story
The Roslin Beach Hotel has been inspired by local toddler Calico Priddle who lives in Southend, fighting a life shortening condition called Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited condition that mainly affects the lungs and pancreas, clogging vital organs with thick mucus causing irreversible damage, it affects around 10,000 people in the UK. Currently the average life expectancy is 41 years with only 50% of patients reaching the age of 18.
THERE IS NO CURE!
Calico fights to stay healthy by taking many medicines a day, including a nebuliser and also has physio throughout the day to keep her chest clear.
We are selling raffle tickets for a fantastic prize draw being held at our Summer Spa party with ALL proceeds being donated to the Southend Cystic Fibrosis Association.
SCFA is a non government funded charity that provide local CF patients in Southend with equipment and financial support.
