<p class="MsoNormal"><span>On 26 April 2012, at the RAD's Annual General Meeting, we will be marking the retirement</span><span> of our President Dame Antoinette Sibley, </span><span>after&nbsp;</span><span>&nbsp;</span><span>20 years.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Dame Antoinette has devoted so much of her time and energy to the Academy&rsquo;s wellbeing that we think she merits a very special thank you.<br></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>The Board of Trustees has commissioned a bust of Dame Antoinette and the creation of a special Sibley scholarship, which will commemorate her name in perpetuity.<br></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>We hope that as many members as possible will feel able to make even a very modest contribution to this appeal in order that we might suitably express our admiration of and gratitude to this great ballerina.<br><br>If every RAD member contributed just &pound;1.50 we would easily reach our target! </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
