We are fundraising for the creation of a new hub within our Edinburgh premises to provide lifelong learning and professional development for doctors. This inspirational new facility will be used to host a year-round programme high quality medical education events, web-streamed live across the world. 

Our current facility, Queen Mother Conference Centre, has served us well for over 30 years but needs substantially upgraded to meet the needs of our Fellows and Members. A major redevelopment will deliver the following benefits: 

- An upgraded medical education programme, improved in terms of quality, content and greater interactivity. Web-streams will be more advanced and reliable, delivered to more sites across the UK, Europe Africa, North America and Asia. This will help our knowledge sharing community to grow.

- Significantly improved disabled access into and around our buildings

- Dedicated space for curated exhibitions of our unique library collections

This will be an £8m investment, of which we have raised £4m so far from our own funds and contributions from charitable trusts. Members of the Senior Fellows club have kindly donated £14,000.
