My Mother died when I was 4, leaving my Dad to bring up my sister and me. He tackled this with amazing determination and the support of close family, building a great family bond that lives on today in his children, his grand children and his great grand children.

However, he had no professional support or counselling to help him tackle all of the issues and decisions that he must have faced, no support to advise him how to help his children overcome their grief and deal with the everyday issues that had to be faced. 

I want to help Seesaw in their work to support bereaved children who like me over 60 years ago, go to sleep hoping that tomorrow it will all have been a big mistake and Mum will come home, or are frightened to go home from school because she won't be there.

The work that Seesaw does is truly amazing and has touched my heart. Since fracturing my spine, my good fiend Rodney Benson has taken my place in completing 10k runs and other events in Rotary District 1090 during my year as District Governor, 2014/15. Please support me, and Roddy, a real friend.
