talented actor for over 30 years; from his early roles in films like A Room With A View and Maurice, right through to his present day work on television hits like Last Tango In Halifax and Sherlock.

We know Rupert is a big fan of monkeys and the work done by Wild Futures at their Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall so what better birthday present could we get him than raising some money for them - and getting Rupert a monkey of his own?

Wild Futures have very kindly agreed to send Rupert his very own cuddly monkey (a toy one!) and let him choose which one of their real ones he wants to adopt!
