Hi to all you lovely people that are donating. From the 1st January, 2015 for exactly one year I will be the Captain of West Malling Golf Club, which is a huge honour and trust in that time I will be a good ambassador to this wonderful golf course complex in Kent. One of my main duties was to choose a charity to support for the duration of that year. I have chosen the Freddie Farmer Foundation, based in Kent, whom provide Physio therapy and treatment beyond the scope of the NHS to young children suffering from cerebral palsy. Although starting in South East London and Kent, they provide treatment, at their Kent base, to patients from anywhere. I chose this charity as they are not one of the major players in the big charity league who get plenty of help via the media, so their fund raising is more difficult and more locally based. Plus if you met Freddie with his enthusiasm and his loving family, or indeed any of the young patients your heart would probably melt as mine did. Please visit their web site for more information.
