From birth Matilda suffered with Hypoglycaemia and Apnoea, medical staff battled to save her life as her breathing kept stopping.

After a period of time in Neonatal Intensive Care blood tests revealed problems and an MRI scan confirmed Congenital Hypopituitarism.

Matilda is adrenal deficient, growth hormone deficient and also suffers with Hypothyroidism. She will need daily injections and oral medication for the rest of her life and could face many challenges ahead. Adrenal crisis is life threatening and the work the Pituitary Foundation does to raise awareness of this, such as get (Red Flagged Campaign) is invaluable.

The Pituitary Foundation is the only charity in the UK for people affected by Pituitary conditions, not just there for the patients but for their family and friends. If it was not for the information advice and guidance by the Pituitary Foundation, explaining and sharing with family members and other key people in Matilda's life. Her life would have been a lot harder so please help and support the foundation.

I will be self-funding the cycle ride so every penny raised will go towards the foundation.
