I was asked a while ago to enter the London 100mile cycle ride and wanted to get involved and help raise money for a worthy cause for those less fortunate. I am pleased to have been involved with The Space Centre based in Preston who cater for young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities.

They need to raise £50,000 each year for sensory equipment in order to strive to meet the needs and enhance the lives of all that use The Space Centre. In addition, they are working on a project to extend the sensory experience from indoors to outdoors by creating the Sensory Garden and requires fundraising.

With this in mind, I am pleased to be part of this team and have entered the London 100m cycle event a demanding route taking in the famous climbs of Leith Hill and Box Hill. I shall be very grateful if you could donate whatever you can to my challenge and contribute to help enhance lives in this remarkable environment.
