On 4th July 2014 I am travelling to Nicaragua to spend 7 weeks with the local Christian community, who live and work around a rubbish dump. Serving the local people will involve a mixture of activities which may range from baking to leading bible studies and children's work. I will be part of a Latin link step team of Christians from a variety of backgrounds. There will be challenges but I am excited to be led out of my comfort zone in the service of God and others.
