Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may or may not know in May of this year we lost my Uncle Alan to cancer quite suddenly. He was the life and soul of many a party, always had a smile on his face and always had time for a chat no matter who you were. So this year I'm running the Dublin Marathon in his memory whilst raising money for a fantastic charity called Angel Wishes NI which has been chosen by my Auntie Cynthia and cousins Samuel and Michael Beattie. Angel Wishes NI is a charity based in Northern Ireland who provide treats for children fighting cancer related illnesses. Unfortunately for many of these children there will be no happy ending and therefore making memories and making them (and indeed every child fighting cancer!) smile is so so important. Every penny raised goes to the children as the charity is run solely by volunteers.

26.2miles is a long way but raising money for this brilliant charity in memory of Uncle Alan will make every step that little bit easier. I'd really appreciate the support :)
