This is the first time I have engaged in a sponsored anything but the needs here are very real and I look forward to being  to help these children

On the 28th January I will be joining other McCabe supporters on a sponsored walk going 3 times round the Old City walls of Jerusalem

We are raising funds for children in great need

70 supporters are participating and our aim is to raise £50,000 for three projects that McCabe trust supports

* The Jeel al Amal school for boys in Jerusalem

*The Al Sharooq Blind school In Bethlehem

*The Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation

Our party will visit the three projects to offer encouragement and strengthen the bond beteween us,the supporters and those doing such wonderful work with the children locally.We are going to producea pohotgraphic diary of our visits and all sponsors will receive a copy

We are all paying our own travelling expenses and admin costs are being covered by the travel company,McCabe Pilgrimages,so sponsorship money in full ,will go to our three highlighted projects
