I have always wanted to run the London Marathon. I have wanted to experience what it is like for the mind and body to work so hard for 26 miles. I had some friends run the marathon last year and it really inspired me to fulfil this goal. 

So I tried to get in on the ballot but found out in October that I didn't get a place. I told of my disappointment to a good friend of mine and he pointed me in the direction of The Actors' Children's Trust as they were looking for runners. I wasn't aware of the charity before and so to find that they existed and were doing such good and important work I felt sure that it was them that I would like to raise the money for. Please take the time to have a look at their website as the more people that know about them the better.
