Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over 300,000 people are diagnosed with IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) in  the UK and many more go undiagnosed. Bowel Disease UK does much needed research into IBD and Bowel Cancer. Having suffered from a bowel condition for many years I want to do an event which aids this research and helps other sufferers.

I have picked a half ironman as this is something which is extremely hard to train for given my condition and medications but I want it to be something that people feel is worth sponsoring. For those that don't know what this involves it is a 1.9km swim, a 90km ride and a 21km run to finish.
