After the success of 18 members of staff scaling the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike. Now on 9th July, 2016 the RE Department & the SFX Pastoral Team will be climbing the highest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon.

Year 11's Pastoral Team at S. F. X College will be working tirelessly to raise money for Zoe's Place. 

Throughout the year we will be staging several events and constantly collecting the following items. So if you have any items on the list that you no longer need, please bring them into school.

  • Items of clothing, curtains, material etc...
  • Unwanted shoes, boots, training shoes (all footwear excepted).
  • Mobile phones.
  • Spent computer/printer cartridges. 
  • Cake sales.
  • Non-uniform days.
  • Working in supermarkets.
  • Selling items provided by Zoe's Place. 
  • Year 11's Pastoral Team  will be aiding and encouraging the students to come up with as many ideas as possible to raise money for this 'Great Cause.' 
  • Mr. Wignall and several members of staff will be visiting the Snowdonia National Park in July 2016 to climb the highest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon.
  • Please dig deep and help us raise as much cash as possible for Zoe's Place.

About the charity

Zoe's Place Baby Hospice provides respite and palliative care for babies aged 0-5 with life limiting or life threatening conditions. We make no charge to parents/carers and so the annual running costs (in excess of £1,400,000) must be raised solely through fundraising initiatives and donations.
